Sanitarium Products Shine at Healthy Food Guide Awards

Sanitarium’s Weet-Bix, UP&GO, and So Good ranges have been recognized as some of the healthiest choices on supermarket shelves, achieving multiple wins at the 2025 Healthy Food Guide Awards across Australia and New Zealand. The awards, judged solely on nutrition credentials by a panel of independent accredited practicing dietitians and experts, celebrate products that genuinely deliver health benefits to consumers.

Among the winners, Weet-Bix Value Pack was named Best Cereal in both Australia and New Zealand, while Weet-Bix Little Kids Essentials took home Best Kids Cereal in Australia and Weet-Bix Bites Wild Berry received the same honor in New Zealand. UP&GO No Added Sugar Vanilla won Best On-the-Go Liquid Breakfast.

The So Good products also achieved multiple wins, reflecting the rising demand for nutritious and plant-based milk alternatives.

SOUTH KOREA

Family Togetherness Week of Prayer Inspires Faith Renewal Across the Country

The Family Togetherness Week of Prayer took place across the conferences under the Korean Union Conference in September 2025, bringing families together through worship, testimony, and Bible engagement.

The Children’s and Family Ministries Department of the East Central Korean Conference hosted the Family Togetherness Week under the theme “Happy Christian Home.” One participant confessed, “I repented of my former faith and decided to take hold of the Lord from the ground up.”

The Southeast Korean Conference organized a four-day online program, utilizing the Family Togetherness Week of Prayer resources translated and distributed by the Korean Union Conference. At the same time, the Southwest Korean Conference held a three-week online camp during which 84 children enrolled and 72 completed the program. One parent reflected, “It is truly beautiful and touching to see the children worshipping God and memorizing Scripture.”

Although the formats varied, all three conferences pursued the same goal: to renew worship in the home and strengthen family faith. The Family Togetherness Week of Prayer clearly demonstrated that when parents take even small steps of faith, they profoundly shape their children’s spirituality, and when families depend on God, He brings healing and restoration.

ENGLAND

North England Conference Moves to New Headquarters to Strengthen Mission

The North England Conference (NEC) of Seventh-day Adventists has purchased a new headquarters building in Sherwood Business Park, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom, marking the end of a century-long chapter at its historic site on Zulla Road, Nottingham. The new premises will house the administrative offices of the NEC and serve as a center of mission and service, leaders said.

This achievement also builds on the vision and foresight of past administrations, who laid the foundation for this moment, the official statement commented.

The NEC emphasized that the new site is intended to serve as more than office space. It will provide a hub where ministries are resourced, leaders equipped, and members supported. “This building is not for a few, but for the entire family of the North England Conference,” wrote Steve Palmer, NEC president, in an open letter. “It is a resource to strengthen our shared mission and expand our collective impact for the kingdom of God.”

The NEC has invited members across the territory to pray for wisdom and guidance as the move is finalized. “Our desire is that everything done in and through these new headquarters will bring glory to God’s name,” the statement concluded.

ITALY

Adventists Provide a New Ambulance for Small Sicilian Municipality

On September 16, Adventist organizations presented a fully equipped medical ambulance to the Monte Stella civil protection in Assorus, Sicily, Italy. The vehicle is ready to serve the local community and its surroundings, leaders said.

This initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the municipality, the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Italy, the Waldfriede Adventist Hospital in Berlin, and other donors. “A modern ambulance, tailored to current needs, is vital for a region that must address various daily and emergency requirements,” said Dag K. Pontvik, director of ADRA Italy.

The initiative began two years ago during the ceremony that named the Assorus civil protection headquarters in honor of the late Adventist pastor Vincenzo Mazza, a native of Assorus, who passed to his rest on July 5, 2023. This tribute included a contribution by the family in a heartfelt acknowledgment of his tireless dedication, regional church leaders reported.

Now that the ambulance has been delivered, the sense of accomplishment is immense. “We are grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute, as ADRA, to this initiative,” Pontvik said. Andreas Mazza, assistant news editor for the Inter-European Division and son of Vincenzo Mazza, agreed. “Praise the Lord for the strength and courage He has given us to complete this important project.”

VENEZUELA

Adventists Share 5,000 Missionary Books to Inspire Hope

In a coordinated day of community outreach, hundreds of Seventh-day Adventists from the northeastern part of Venezuela distributed more than 5,000 missionary books to public government employees on September 19. The initiative responded to growing concern over emotional and mental well-being in the region.

Teams of pastors, church members, and students visited governor’s offices, city halls, law-enforcement agencies, and banks, offering prayer and sharing literature. The missionary books Living With Hope, by Marcello Niek and Bruno Raso, and Hope in the Midst of Chaos, by Mark Finley, included a QR code linking to Hope Channel Inter-America’s app, connecting readers to follow-up content on faith and wellness.

“It was moving to watch our church family and students from our Adventist school invest, support, and pray with more than 2,000 people,” said Elder Rubio, president of the Northeast Venezuela Mission.

Volunteers were also granted the floor at the city’s Legislative Council to briefly explain the content of the books. Eneivis Figuera, chief of staff at the Cumaná mayor’s office, thanked the team: “We are immensely pleased by your presence. It is a great blessing that you care about us and pray for us,” she said.
