A Loud Voice, One Voice

One question continues to surface quietly but persistently. In a world filled with constant noise, how will the message of Christ be clearly heard? The issue is not how loud we speak, but whether we are speaking together. Repetition goes only so far. What gives weight to our witness is alignment. Multiple voices in a room sound confusing. The world needs one voice that is clear, steady, and true.

We find our direction in Scripture. The final proclamation in Revelation is described as a message given “with a loud voice” (Rev. 14:9). But the emphasis is not on sound, but on clarity—one voice that speaks with authority. It is a message shaped by Scripture and centered in Christ, expressed through a church that understands why it exists and what it has been called to do.

This is how OneVoice27 should be understood at its core. This is not simply an organized effort—another church initiative. It is a moment in history that calls us forward, to move together. OneVoice27 marks 2,000 years since the baptism of Jesus and the beginning of His ministry. Our focused emphasis will be in September 2027. The invitation is simple and direct—use every available means to lead people back to the Bible as we announce Jesus’ soon return. The strength of this movement will come more from the purpose that guides us and less from the tools we use.

What is needed now is a church that recognizes the moment it is living in. Not waiting for ideal conditions. Not divided in effort. But moving forward, because it trusts the Word it proclaims.

The world needs not more content but more meaning. Jesus made the mission clear: “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matt. 24:14). The promise stands—the responsibility remains.

Movements such as these must be born out of consecration instead of relying on business as usual. Before anything reaches the public space, it must take root in the private life. Ellen White expressed this directly: “We must do something out of the common course of things. We must arrest the attention. We must be deadly in earnest.”[*] This is a call for creativity, but even more, it is a call for seriousness before God.

What is needed now is a church that recognizes the moment it is living in. Not waiting for ideal conditions. Not divided in effort. But moving forward, because it trusts the Word it proclaims. A loud voice will be heard only when it becomes one voice.

The message is ready. The world is waiting.
